Andrea Harris

Andrea J. Harris was born in 1948 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts. Her parents were Melvin B. Harris and Gladys (Foote) Harris. Her memorial records that three infant brothers died before her.

She graduated from Frontier Regional High School in 1965. She then trained in nursing at Smith Academy. She worked as an LPN, a licensed practical nurse, at Franklin Medical Center. A licensed practical nurse gives bedside care under the direction of registered nurses and doctors. Over the years she also took in children as a babysitter and worked as a home health aide and a hospice worker.

She married Fred O. Chase II, who was born in 1947. Her memorial says they had been married 59 years when she died, which places the wedding around 1965. They had two children. The memorial does not name them.

Andrea Chase had survived cancer. She died in 2024 with her husband beside her, and her memorial remembers her as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is buried in Gill Center Cemetery in Gill, Franklin County. Fred O. Chase II died on 12 March 2025 and is buried in the same cemetery.
