Andrian Rapinchuk was born on 25 August 1891 at Sulichevo, a village of the Polesie marshes in Grodno gubernia of the western Russian Empire. He gave the village as "Sulitchew, Russia" when he registered for the draft in 1942, and signed the card himself. His father was very probably Andrey Rapinczuk of the same village, who is named as the father of his younger brother Andrew on the ship's list that brought that brother to New York in 1912.

He was in America by 1913, by the arithmetic of the 1930 census. His brother had landed on 1 November 1912 and gone straight to Cook County, Illinois, and Andrian settled in Chicago too. He spent his working life there as a stationary engineer, the man who kept a building's boilers and machinery running. In 1942 he was working for the National Biscuit Company at 1080 West Washington Boulevard.

He married Marie Welisik, who was born in 1894 in the same borderland, and they raised six children at 7325 South Oakley Avenue: John, Peter, Ann, Edward, Helen and Daniel. He was a citizen before mid-1941, when he starts appearing as a citizen witness on other immigrants' naturalization petitions. Marie died at the Oakley Avenue address in October 1952. Andrian died in November 1979 at Downers Grove, aged 88, and was buried with her at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove. His death notice named his brother Andrew among the living.
