Anna Maria Schwab was born about 1777 at Donebach, a village in the Catholic parish of Mudau in the Odenwald hills of northern Baden. The clerks of the time wrote it Dumbach. Her father, Johann Kaspar Schwab, was the village's Vogt, its headman. Her mother was Agnes Müller, a daughter of Jacob Müller. Her parents had married at Mudau in 1774. A younger sister, Agnes, was born about 1787, and a brother, Franz Joseph, probably came between them.

On 29 July 1800 she married Franz Müller of Einbach, a few miles from Donebach in the parish of Limbach. The Latin entry names her as the daughter of "Casparus Schwab." Her husband's father, Johann Müller, was a juror of the Einbach village court. She had four children with Franz. Eva Katharina was born about 1804 and Maria Anna about 1809, who died young. Johann Josef followed on 13 December 1810 and Maria Christina on 17 April 1812.

Her husband died between 1811 and the summer of 1814, probably away from Einbach. On 26 July 1814 she married again at Waldhausen, before Kaplan Link. In English: the unmarried Sebastian Schork, farmer, twenty-eight, lawful son of the late Kaspar Schork, citizen and farmer of Breitenbach, and of Anna Maria born Link of Dumbach; and Anna Maria Müller, thirty-three, widow of the late Franz Joseph Müller, citizen and farmer of Einbach, who was dispensed from the time of mourning.

The witnesses were her first husband's father, "Johann Müller der Braut Schwiegervater," and Franz Leimen, a farmer, both citizens of Einbach. A widow was normally expected to wait a year before remarrying. The dispensation suggests her first husband had died recently. Sebastian's mother was a Link of Dumbach, from her own village.

Her daughter Eva Katharina married Franz Amor Hess at Waldhausen on 21 February 1832, entered as the lawful daughter of Franz Müller of Einbach and Anna Maria born Schwab. A granddaughter, Maria Agnes, was born that December.

She died at Einbach at midnight on 13 February 1841. In English: in the year 1841, on the thirteenth of February at twelve at night, Anna Maria Schork, born Schwab of Dumbach, sixty-four years old, wife of Sebastian Schork, citizen and farmer of Einbach, died at Einbach. She was buried at Waldhausen on the sixteenth of February at nine in the morning by Vikar Schwarzmann. The witnesses were Jakob Schell and Michel Brauch. The pastor of Limbach, Vierneisel, signed it on the day of the burial. Sebastian Schork lived until 1847, by a database compiled from the Einbach register.
