Born 1867, Silesia
Died 1945
Father: John Hadamek
Mother: Rosalia Arlt

Born in Silesia in October 1867 by the family's dates, or 22 October 1866 by his obituary, Charles crossed with his parents John and Rosalia Hadamek; he was an immigrant himself, not Texas-born as the trees once had it. He married Magdalena Wojtaszczyk on January 10, 1893 at Meyersville, where the settlement's two peoples, German Lutherans and Silesian Catholics, kept separate churches at opposite ends of one map. They had twelve children, and only four outlived their mother: Henry, Frances, S. E. and Josephine.

He farmed in DeWitt County. Magdalena died at their home near Cuero in December 1936. He retired from farming about 1937 and lived with his children after that, the last two weeks at George West, where his son Henry lived. He died in a hospital at Beeville on Thursday 28 June 1945 at 10:35 at night, after a short illness. He was buried from the Catholic church in Cuero and lies in Hillside Cemetery there.
