Daughter of Jacob Giønge, controller of customs and byfoged of Kragerø, and his wife Catharina Maria. She married Peter Larssen Tønder, a young writing clerk from Vikedal in Ryfylke who had been employed under the bailiff of that district, and in 1720 her father obtained royal permission to make over both of his offices to his new son in law.

Six children of the marriage are recorded. Christian, born 1729, practised as a prokurator at Kragerø and died there in 1791. Anna Marie, born 1731, married the customs officer Søren Sørensen Knap and afterwards Niels Boesen Møller, and died in 1773. Fredrikke was born 27 August 1734 and died at Christiania in 1793. Hans Henrich, born 1738, died at Drammen in 1808. Jacob Lorentz was born in 1741. Jacob Giønge Tønder, born 1745 and christened for her father, became byfoged of Kragerø in his turn.

She died in 1754, sixteen years before her husband. Her birth and her marriage date are not known.
