Elizabeth Robinson, sometimes written Robertson, was born at Kaukauna, on the Fox River in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, on 10 October 1866. Her parents are given as James Robinson and Mary Bruslen.
About 1884, at seventeen or eighteen, she married Walter J. Terry, a young man from Warren, New Hampshire. They spent their whole married life at Kaukauna, and she raised a family of eleven children there. Their son Joseph was born in 1885 and Edward in May 1886. After them came William, Rachel Anna (1891), David, Enough (1895), Walter (1897), Julius (1900), Ezra (1902), Emma (1902) and Leona (1906).
She lost three of them. Enough died at two or three in 1898. Walter Jr. died on 7 November 1917, aged twenty. Leona, married to Joseph L. Kappell, died on 3 January 1932, at 25.
The censuses follow the household at Kaukauna from 1900 to 1940. Elizabeth died at Kaukauna on 28 October 1942, aged 76. She is buried in Kelso Cemetery there. Walter lived another sixteen years.
