Born 1780
Died 1834

Franciszek Krawczyk farmed a holding at Panki, a village of ironworkers and smallholders on the Russian side of the border by Klobuck. His parents were Stanislaw and Maryanna Krawczyk. He married Anastazja Paciepnik before 1810, and their first child, a daughter named Franciszka, died at Panki that year.

He was thirty one in February 1811, when the midwife walked to the registrar to report the birth of his son Walenty in house number nine. Two more children followed at Panki, Katarzyna in 1812 and Andrzej in 1813.

He died at Panki at ten at night on 20 March 1834, a farmer of fifty. Two farmers of Truskolasy reported the death to the priest two days later. Eleven weeks after that, on 15 June 1834, Walenty married Maryanna Jelonek at Przystajn, and the clerk wrote the single word zmarlego, the deceased, beside his father's name. His widow Anastazja stayed at Panki. Nine years later she married the bride's father, Antoni Jelonek.

His son Walenty's eldest child, Franciszka, was born at Panki a year after his death. She was the girl who later crossed the border into Prussia, and the Texas family descends from her.
