Josef Doleček
b. 1784 · Lhotka, Zamberk district, Bohemia
Born 1784, Lhotka, Zamberk district, Bohemia
Josef Doleček was the son of another Josef Doleček, who farmed house number 20 at Lhotka, a village in the parish of Klášterec nad Orlicí in the Zamberk district of eastern Bohemia. On 10 February 1805, at twenty-one, he married Barbora Švenda, a daughter of a Švenda of Pastviny, another village of the parish. The banns had been read on 20 and 27 January and 2 February. The two witnesses were the village headmen, the rychtář of Klášterec and the rychtář of Pastviny.
Josef took over house number 20 and was written down in the 1830s as a quarter-farmer, a peasant holding a quarter of a full farm under the lordship of Žamberk. His daughter Marie married Vincenc Krčmář, who farmed house number 22. Their children were baptized in January 1833, May 1834 and December 1839, and each time the priest named Josef as the grandfather at Lhotka no. 20. By the baptism of Barbora in October 1841 he wrote of him as the late Josef Doleček.
A Vincenc Doleček farmed Lhotka no. 19 in 1865, and a Josef Doleček, cottager, lived in the village in 1852; how they were related to him is not known.
