Louise Anna Raymond was born on 7 November 1895 at Clarendon, Rutland County, Vermont, a farming town just south of Rutland.
On 30 December 1915, at twenty, she married Will Bussino at Mount Holly. Will was a laborer of twenty-eight, born to a French-Canadian family of Napierville County, Quebec. A Catholic priest from Wallingford married them.
Her children were born over twenty-three years: Gordon Francis in 1916, Vernon Robert in 1918, Hazel Mildred on 7 August 1921, Raymond Earl in 1927, and Verna Jeanne in 1939, when Louise was forty-three. The birth record of her daughter Verna gives her mother's name in full as Louise Anna Raymond.
In March 1919, with two small boys at home in Rutland, Louise saw her husband arrested on the claim that he had a part in the thefts his brother was charged with at Mount Holly.
The family lived at Rutland through the 1920s, moved to Brookfield by 1940 and to East Montpelier by 1950. Will died in November 1964 at Montpelier. Louise outlived him by seven years and died on 5 October 1971. She was buried in Lake View Cemetery.
