Margaret Lincoln

Children include Richard

Margaret was the wife of Robert Lincoln of Hingham, in Norfolk. Lea and Hutchinson, in their book of 1909, call her Margaret Alberye. Robert Alberye of Hingham was one of her husband's executors in 1556, and her second husband owned a pasture called Albries Closes.

Robert made his will on 14 January 1555/6 and was dead before the month was out. Margaret was pregnant. He left her the dwelling house, land, meadows and pastures until their son Richard turned twenty one, and named her his executrix with Robert Alberye. Her children by him were Richard, John, Katherine and Agnes, and the child she was carrying.

She married Roger Wright of Hingham. Their children were Robert and Mary Wright. Roger made his will on 9 February 1570/1, and it was proved on 2 March. "To my wife Margaret all my pasture called Albries Closes." He gave a close to "Richard Lyncolne, my wife's son," and twenty shillings to "my wife's daughter Katherine Brooke." He named his wife Margaret and her son Richard as his executors. When she died is not known.
