Olive Wilson
Born 23 August 1773. She married Jacob Chase, as his first wife, at Chester in Vermont. He had been born at Shirley in Massachusetts on 30 January 1771. The Chase genealogy of 1928 dates the marriage April 1791. The Vermont vital records index has "Jacob Chase and Olive Willson" married on 1 February 1792, on two separate cards. She died on 9 March 1799 at twenty five, having been married seven or eight years. Her husband married again on 25 April 1800, Jennie Needham Newton, and by her had eight more children; the couple lived afterwards at Massena in St Lawrence County, New York, and he died at Lake Mills in Wisconsin in 1847. This line descends from her eldest, Alden, born 12 May 1792, who married Phebe W. Stearns on 1 March 1820 and settled at Lake Mills.
