Ohio county marriages, Hamilton County, 10 October 1855, book B10 page 49: WILLIAM B. HEAL married CICELIA CATINA. Their son William was born fourteen months later, on 19 December 1856.
The 1860 census of the 8th Ward of Cincinnati has William B Heal, 24, born Germany, with Cecelia A, 23, and William B, 2. The 1932 death certificate of the son calls his mother Louise Catina, not Cecelia, and the boy was two when he should have been three.
Catina is a rare name in Cincinnati. The 1855 return and the 1932 certificate are the same marriage, and the certificate, which was filed at Longview State Hospital from an admission record, got her given name wrong.
He was dead by 1870. The census of that year has Cecilia at the head of her own household in the same ward, with William and Charles and no husband. So he died in his twenties or thirties, somewhere between June 1860 and June 1870.
His birthplace is not settled. The 1860 census says he was born in Germany. His son's 1932 certificate says Cincinnati, and in 1900 the son gave Ohio for both his parents. The census was answered by the household, and the certificate was filled in seventy seven years later by somebody reading an asylum file. But the son's own 1900 answer also stands against the census, and the records do not settle it.
