Dolores Marguerite Lehman
Dolores Marguerite Lehman was born on 12 February 1909 at Idaho Falls, then in Bingham County, Idaho. Her birth was registered with her parents' names, William Lehman and Jennie Waldron. Both had been born in Iowa and had married there in 1903.
She was the fourth of ten children. Her older brothers were Harold Jesse (born 1903) and Harley William, called Shorty (1906), and her sister LaVerne Adulce was born in 1907. After her came Floyd Ray (1911), Faye (1913), Howard (1920), Beryl Pauline and Merle Lorene, both born in 1921, and Frieda Mae (1926). The family moved on from Idaho to Fallon, Nevada, where her parents lived out their lives.
At eighteen, on 14 May 1927, Dolores married Erhart Wallner, a young Bavarian immigrant known as John. In 1930 they were at Fallon with two babies, Betty and William. A third child, Julia La Verne, came in 1931.
Dolores later lived at Redding in Shasta County, California, where her daughter Betty raised her own family. John died in 1987. Dolores died at Redding on 1 September 2000, aged 91, and is buried in Redding Memorial Park.
A lineage written by her family traces her mother's side, through her grandmother Alice Dulce Roberts, back to Edward Fuller, a passenger on the Mayflower in 1620 and a signer of the Mayflower Compact. That descent is a family claim. The generations between have not been set out from records here.
