Elizabeth Angel, called Betsy, married Henderson Cremeans and kept a farm household in the Hannan District of Mason County. Their eldest child was born in 1833 and their youngest known one in 1848.
The 1880 census has her at sixty six, born in Virginia, which puts her birth about 1814, and a Mason County history gives 1815. She died before her husband. The county register of deaths returns him a widower in January 1909, and his obituary of the same month says his mother died at a hundred and twenty and *his wife at the age of 100 years*. Only a county history compiled in 1987 has her dying in 1915, at a hundred. She is buried beside him at Fairfield.
At sixty six she and Henderson were keeping two sixteen year old boys who were not theirs, Jorney Morris and Henry Sharp, both written into the census as adopted sons.
Two of her daughters married Holleys, which is why the 1928 death certificate of her grandson Levi B. Fetty gives his mother, her daughter Narcissa, as Sissie Holley.
