Johanne Marie Hylle, born 1694 and dead in Drangedal in 1774, wife of the farmer Halvor Halvorsen Solberg of that parish. She was a borgermesterdatter fra Skien, the daughter of a mayor of Skien, Peder Simonsen Hylle.

The Kragerø historian calls her stridbar, contentious, and then says what that meant in practice: Hun levet på en altfor stor fot, drev en mengde rettssaker, og fikk til å begynne med god støtte av sin svigersønn Halvor. She lived on far too grand a scale, ran a great many lawsuits, and at first had good support from her son in law Halvor. The son in law was Halvor Heuch, a licensed attorney with, in the same book's phrase, a sharp and lively pen, logical and energetic. She had married her youngest daughter to a lawyer and then used him.

The Drangedal account of the family looks at the same marriages from the other end and reaches the same conclusion about her: she married her daughters upward, and with the youngest, Maria Magdalene, she really shot the golden bird. That daughter went to Kragerø in 1747 and her own daughter married the town's magistrate in 1774, the year Johanne Marie died.
