Lucy Ann Klink
Lucy Ann Klink was born in Greene County, Pennsylvania, on 14 February 1873, and spent most of her life in the eastern part of that county. She married William Henry Stoner, and they had at least nine children.
In January 1920 Lucy, 44, was the head of the household in Washington County, with seven children at home: Irene, 19, Walter, 17, Hazel, 14, Howard, 12, Holmes, 9, Alice, 4, and the baby Ethel, a month old. In 1930 she was in North Strabane Township, Washington County, with Holmes, Alice and Ethel. She was widowed in February 1948.
When her obituary was printed, her children were living far apart. Irene was in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, and Walter in Roseville, Michigan. Howard and Holmes were at Rockville, Maryland, and Alice and Ethel had gone to Beverly Hills, California.
Lucy belonged to the Nazarene church at Greensboro. She died at the Greene County Memorial Hospital after a long illness, and was buried at Glades Cemetery beside William. Her stone gives her dates as 14 February 1873 to 24 September 1953.
